For over a decade, Quint was the primary driver that led all aspects of a business which oversaw and implemented surface water management, sub-surface drainage systems, earthmoving, RTK based topographic mapping, computer aided tile design, and a myriad of other services.  Quint prospected and cultivated a client based that stretched across central Illinois and included thousands of acres.  He consulted, prepared, and interpreted professionally engineered plans, as well as personally designing over 50,000 acres of agricultural drainage plans.

While building his drainage water management business, Quint was an operator/partner on his family’s 6th generation farm. They raise conventional corn, soybeans, wheat, and alfalfa. In addition, Quint played an integral role in transitioning a portion of the farm to organic production which produces organic corn, soybeans, sunflowers, canola, and wheat. Quint has taken the patience and determination that is necessary to be involved in agriculture and brought that same tenacity to DIGS Associates.

Quint’s responsibility as a founding partner and Chairman of the Board at DIGS Associates is to guide the overall mission of DIGS Associates.   Quint is heavily focused on DIGS proprietary technology, institutional investor relations, finance, project management, engineering, constructability, sustainability/conservation, business development, and sub-contractor relations.  Since starting DIGS, Quint has been intrinsically involved with over 100,000 acres of land improvements across the continental United States and multiple countries.  These improvements range from ditch cleanings and waterway construction to watershed projects which amass 1,000’s of contiguous acres of holistic drainage improvements.

Quint enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He’s currently a member of the Land Improvement Contractors Association of Illinois, the Illinois Association of Drainage Districts, and the Illinois Farm Bureau.  He is the former Vice Chairman of the Agricultural Watershed Institute, and former Chair of the Macon, Piatt, and Dewitt University of Illinois Extension Council.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”85px”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
