Quint was born and raised in Cerro Gordo, IL and currently resides in Monticello, IL.
After graduating from Purdue University, and before co-founding DIGS Associates, he founded and built a drainage water management company. Quint will tell you that they had humble beginnings, but that company has grown into a regional service provider that handles surface water management, sub-surface drainage systems, earthmoving, RTK based topographic mapping, computer aided tile design, and a myriad of other services.
Quint is also proud to be an operator/partner on their 6th generation family farm. They raise conventional corn, soybeans, wheat, and alfalfa. In addition, his family farm has an organic side that also produces organic corn, soybeans, and wheat. Quint has taken the patience and determination that is necessary to be involved in agriculture and brought that same tenacity to DIGS Associates. He applies the valuable lessons he has learned from the farm, and he continues to develop character through on the farm experience.
Growing a business and being directly involved with landowners, farmers, a family farm, and other contractors has given Quint a unique perspective. His greatest professional joy is finding solutions to problems and discovering new ways to look at and interpret adverse situations.
Quint enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He’s currently a member of the Land Improvement Contractors Association of Illinois, the Illinois Association of Drainage Districts, the Illinois Farm Bureau, Vice Chairman of the Agricultural Watershed Institute, and Chair of the Macon, Piatt, and Dewitt University of Illinois Extension Council.
