Tyler grew up in Rochester, IL where he currently lives with his wife and young son. Tyler studied civil engineering at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, specializing in drainage and structural design. During college, he worked for two consulting engineering firms as well as the Illinois Department of Transportation, assisting with surveying and construction inspection.
Since graduating college, Tyler has worked in a variety of engineering rolls, providing engineering services for large scale road and bridge projects for the Illinois Department of Transportation and the Illinois Toll Highway Authority. He has worked for local municipalities and private developers on commercial and residential developments, as well as performing drainage studies on existing properties for landowners.
Through previous experience, Tyler’s focus has been drainage and erosion control design. He has been involved in a large variety of projects including, water quality management, ditch design, compensatory storage, storm sewer sizing, detention facilities, and subsurface drainage.
Tyler has been involved in the agriculture community all his life and enjoys using his engineering experience to provide clients with efficient and calculated designs.
